Verno is a modular, upcycled cabinet constructed from the base of a broken dining chair found on the street and reclaimed planks from the old locker room benches of Sparta Rotterdam. This project explores material-driven design, adaptive reuse, and modular construction principles, combining storytelling with practical craftsmanship.
By experimentation, the material guided the design process — from constructing early prototypes to exploring form through making and detailing sculptural door handles.
